The hallways were quite echo-y, and we could hear a baby crying throughout the night from the neighboring room. Additionally, there was no air conditioning, so we had to leave the windows open, which resulted in some noise from the street in the morning.

The value for money at Ilheu 25 was great, with nice rooms and comfortable beds. The location was convenient, within walking distance to restaurants and the beach. The staff treated us extremely well and went above and beyond to make our stay special.

Ricardo, in particular, was incredibly helpful in recommending restaurants and organizing a winery tour. the room was comfortable and clean, with plenty of natural light. the common areas were also well-thought-out and enjoyable. the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was a standout feature with its spaciousness and great water pressure. the breakfast, although not extensive, was made even better by the friendly service and delicious homemade cake. the pool, while small, was clean and added to our enjoyment. the availability of a kitchen and fridge was convenient for saving money. The strong and reliable wifi was a bonus, especially by the pool. Cons: Hard to think of anything 🤔.
